File 07 — Questions
Asked and
answered.
Everything people ask before they join — indexed. If your question isn't in the file, a human will answer it during staffed hours.
Section 01 — Membership & Billing
Membership and billing
Is there a contract?
No. Membership is $79.99 per month, month-to-month. No contract, no yearly maintenance fees, zero annual or bi-annual fees. You stay because the gym is worth it — that's the whole model.
What do I pay to get started?
First month + last month + a one-time $50 enrollment fee, due at signup — $209.98 total. After that it's $79.99/month, and nothing else. The full breakdown is on the rate card.
How does the military discount work?
Active duty and veterans get 15% off the monthly rate — bring a valid military ID to the front desk at signup and it's applied from month one. It's our standing thank-you, not a promotion.
Does one membership work at both locations?
Yes. One membership, both houses — train at Oxnard (Site 01) on weekdays and Camarillo (Site 02) on the weekend if that's your routine. Your keyfob works at either door.
Can I freeze or cancel my membership?
Yes. Since there's no contract, you can cancel any month — just let the front desk know. Going on deployment, travel, or recovering from an injury? Ask about a temporary freeze and we'll sort it out at the desk.
How do I manage my billing?
Payment methods, receipts and dues are handled at the front desk during staffed hours. Rates are posted and never padded with surprise fees.
Section 02 — Access & Hours
Access and hours
How does 24/7 access work?
Members get secure keyfob access to the facility 24 hours a day, 365 days a year — including holidays. Outside staffed hours, your fob lets you in and the floor is yours.
What are the staffed hours?
Monday–Friday 8am–8pm, Saturday 8am–4pm, Sunday by appointment — at both sites. That's when the desk is live for tours, signups and questions. Member access continues around the clock.
Can I bring a guest?
Bring your guest by during staffed hours and the front desk will get them signed in and walked through the floor. We keep it simple — talk to staff at either location and they'll take care of it.
Can minors train here?
Policies for minors depend on age and situation — call your site, (805) 253-0437 for Oxnard or (805) 445-1228 for Camarillo, and the desk will walk you through the options.
Section 03 — Training & Coaching
Training and coaching
Can I deadlift and use chalk?
Yes and yes. The platforms read RESPECT and RERACK — that's the entire etiquette policy. Lift heavy, lift loud, put it back.
Do I need to be a powerlifter or bodybuilder to join?
No. The room is built for serious training, not a serious résumé. No matter your level of fitness, this is the place to make working out a priority — day one counts.
How do I book personal training?
Pick a coach and a package on the pricing page, then book sessions at the front desk. Powerlifting, contest prep, conditioning and nutrition are all in-house.
What's the gym etiquette?
Rerack your weights, wipe your station, respect the lift happening next to you. It's painted on the platforms so nobody has to guess. Staff hold the same standard — the eight values apply to everyone.
Section 04 — Locations & Facility
Locations and facility
Where are the gyms?
Is there parking?
Yes — free on-site lots at both addresses. No meters, no validation dance, even at 2 a.m.
Which location should I pick?
Whichever is closer — the rate, the hours and the standard are identical, and your membership works at both. Oxnard is the flagship with the founders on the floor; Camarillo sits just off the 101.
How do I book a tour?
Send a message from the contact page, call either site, or just walk in during staffed hours. Tours take about fifteen minutes and skip the sales script.
